Catharina Prym is an international expert in supporting and consulting entrepreneurial families. She is a partner at PwC and Managing Director of the INTES Academy for Family Businesses. She works with family businesses in Europe and Africa at the intersection of family dynamics and company requirements. She is a systemic organizational consultant and mediator and focuses on developing owner strategies, family constitutions, succession plans and conflict resolutions with her clients.
She studied economics and philosophy at the University of Witten/Herdecke and is one of the founders of the FBN NextGen Chapter in Germany.
At PwC Africa she supported the establishment of Family Business Services in South Africa and, among other things, created Africa's first annual Family Business Conference. In addition she also co-founded PwC’s Family Governance Consulting practices in Germany and Switzerland.
She is a 15th generation shareholder of the Prym Group, one of the oldest industrial family companies in Europe, and was the first member of her generation on the shareholders' board.
As an expert on dynamics in entrepreneurial families, she regularly speaks at international conferences.
