Wouter van Oord-Jansen

Wouter van Oord-Jansen is currently chairman of VOx, the family association of the Dutch Van Oord Family. As such, he is also non-executive board member of MerweOord, the holding company for the operating business Van Oord, a company with over 150 years of experience as an international marine contractor.
The Family association VOx was founded almost 25 years ago with the aim to enhance the cohesion within the growing family Van Oord and the engagement with the Family Enterprise. VOx provides the family with an intensive education-program, different communication channels, philanthropic activities and social events. Many of these activities are done in close cooperation with MerweOord. More than 180 family members, shareholders and non-shareholders, reaching from G3 to G6, are affiliated with VOx.
Wouter has been actively engaged in different roles within the family governance since 1991. Besides his involvement with the family(business), he holds a senior management role in the care sector.
